SOBU co-founder Laleh Latini was inspired to draw during the first shelter in place at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Named after Oizys, the Greek goddess of grief, this image commemorates the year 2020 which was marked for all of us as a year of hardship, anxiety, uncertainty and finally, of hope.
18" x 24" high. Digital print edition of 25. Signed, dated and numbered on back.
Printed on archival paper that is FSC-certified and acid-free with a smooth, neutral-white finish. Optional handmade solid walnut frame. Please note, frame has no glass or plexiglass. Added benefit is lighter in weight and less likely to get damaged/broken.
