Baby Alpaca is humanely shorn each spring from the underside of the neck and body where the fiber is the finest and softest. The name “baby” reflects quality, not age. Alpaca means luxury, durability and comfort; an eco-friendly material as soft as cashmere, seven times as warm as wool (which can be itchy and uncomfortable), hypoallergenic, moisture wicking and resistant to odor, matting and pilling.
