Please note that there may be checks at the ends of the Mars slabs. You can see them clearly when choosing your slab. A check is a natural split in solid wood that appears as the sap wood of a timber shrinks around the heart wood over time. Checking adds to the natural beauty of the Mars collection and is a distinctive feature of this design.
